Review of The Return (2006) by Amber C — 06 Feb 2008
Gellar returns home to find out why she is haunted by the strange visions of the murder of a woman she has never met. Promising premise really goes nowhere as slowly as it can, plodding along with forgettable characters and really giving the viewer no reason to stay interested.
For 70 minutes it never builds anything, no mystery, no answers, then suddenly out of nowhere it enters the climax and for 10 minutes the film becomes somewhat interesting, but then rushes through everything.
Horrid waste of time.
