Review of The Return (2006) by Adam H — 11 Apr 2008
This movie was a little difficult to figure for me.
The script is far too vague on its central concept. I didn't know until I watched the special features after my third viewing that this is a movie about reincarnation. Not in the strictest sense of dying and being reborn, but dying and having your spirit transferred into another person.
There's something to be said for a little mystery, but by the end you should have some clue as to the point of the film, this one just left me scratching my head.
It also doesn't help that the pacing rivals that of a tortoise.
