Review of The Rescuers Down Under (1990) by Justin A — 01 May 2015
An okay sequel that wasn't as good as I fondly remembered. This came at a time when Disney was getting ready to fire on all cylinders (this was right after The Little Mermaid and before Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin) so it kind of gets forgotten.
The animation is great like many of the other Disney movies at the time, but the story is as basic as many of the other kids films at the time (it's similar to Ferngully) and there really was just nothing memorable about it.
It's a decent kids film, but you will not remember it and likely won't care to watch it again.
