Review of The Rescuers Down Under (1990) by Trevor R — 14 Jun 2011
I remember watching this flick countless times when I was young. It's definitely not as good as I remember, but it still has some great moments. Having not seen the first Rescuers before this one, I had no frame of reference with the main characters of Bernard and Bianca.
However, I still enjoyed their endearing relationship. The animation as with pretty much every other Disney film is great. The flying scenes in particular bring me back to my childhood and wanting to fly on an eagle's back.
George C. Scott plays a great villain and John Candy does admirably as the comic relief.
