A surprisingly tedious, emotionally-remote feature, feeling strangely like a depressing Ralph Bakshi film-- Heavy Traffic comes to mind. Ultimately, the film brings more sadness with its bleak theme and moods than the simple joys that the Walt Disney Company has tried to make a standard.
