Review of The Rescuers (1977) by Robert S — 09 Oct 2008
The Rescuers is almost nothing like the quaintly imaginative Sharp Novel it is titled after, but it is fun for what's there. It's a pity it was made when it was, though; Disney animation was at its worse, lacking refinement, depth, and beauty.
If it weren't for the amazing vocal talents involved this would be nothing more than a curiosity.
