Review of The Rescuers (1977) by Frank M — 12 Nov 2008
The Rescuers showed some improvement on the art of the other Disney movies that were released before it. It was also one of the last movies of the classic Disney animators. Disney tried to lighten up The Rescuers with more goofy animals and music, but the movie about a kidnapped child being forced to search for a diamond in a flooding cave always seemed a little more scary and adult than some of the other Disney movies.
