Review of The Rescuers (1977) by Ceara R — 15 Apr 2012
It was an interesting story, but I found myself not too invested with the little girl. She was more annoying than sympathetic. The mice, the other animals, and the villain were the highlight of the movie.
The villain was a lot of fun with her crocodiles and bumbling fool of a sidekick. The animals were quirky and entertaining. In the end, it's still a good movie, but when the victim of the story is uninteresting and aggravating, there's a certain emptiness when the story closes.
