"The Rescuers" remains one of the most satisfying Disney films ever created; it's got everything: a solid plot line that cleverly blends classic adventure tale elements with a somewhat modern setting, a delightful cast of memorable characters, fantastic voice actors, mystery, the right dose of humor, drama, intrigue, a hauntingly atmospheric setting, a wide variety of beautiful music and top-notch, masterful animation! Of course, home video releases that have been beyond poor in presentation quality take away from the viewing pleasure, but I have fun imagining what this would look like in properly mastered high definition! "I'm lost at sea without a friend.
.. this journey, will it ever end...?".
