The Rescuers is one of those Disney animated films that you totally forget about ever existing, and for me, it's like a revelation. I hadn't seen the film before until recently and I really enjoyed it.

I knew the story from when I was a kid. I had a set of Disney books that featured the story of The Rescuers, but I hadn't actually seen the movie. I'm glad that I waited all of these years because it was like discovering something really good that you were totally blind to before.

I never went out of my way in not seeing it, but that's just how the cards fell, as they say. It has some great characters that are a lot of fun, and it's nice to see it get dark at times. Animated movies hardly ever do that nowadays.

I really recommend it if you're like me and just never got around to seeing it. I'm happy that I finally did.
