Review of The Replacements (2000) by Ceara T — 29 Oct 2009
The smartly choreographed gridiron drama is underdog-rooting infectious. The Replacements will do anything for a laugh. Hackman looks terrific and wins one for the Gipper with his warm, no-nonsense discipline.
The aging, motley crew gives bizarre meaning to the term male bonding.
