Ugh.... what trash is this.

Chow Yun Fat is playing a poor imitation of his ols school gangster characters here is a very much American vision of hk flick.

The scenes happen almost randomly serving only to display how many ways you can have a gun fight scene while inbetween, you have vague interludes before the next gun fight occurs. You can't help but notice the use of music cut to the guns scenes and makes you wonder if they noticed the distinct lack of music in some of the best of the hk films.

This had promise but unfortunately, this turned out into something that pampers to the American audience, something that most of the hk/china film stars' films made in America seem to fall foul of.
