Review of The Replacement Killers (1998) by Joe G — 23 Nov 2006
Chow Yun-Fat's North American debut and most said it was a flop. Some say it was the director or the story...The same Antoine Fuqua who did Training day, Tears of the Sun and King Arthur...I think not.
The story is good and the film contains a certain style that was a trademark of the Hong Kong action flick but translated into North American...hence the "failure". I've always liked this film and always will.
