This was just a good action movie. While the dialogue wasn't the best, what really made this movie shine is it's simplicity. The action scenes are intense and attention grabbing, and the cast was perfect for this movie.
Plus, while Chow Yun Fat and Mira Sorvino have good chemisty, they keep it simple by excluding the inevitable romance, the usual "we're being chased nonstop by ruthless killers, but let's have sex for a few hours despite that fact.
" Although The Replacement Killers is no Oscar-winner, it is by far one of the best action films out there.
