Review of The Remains of the Day (1993) by Kev R — 19 May 2009
A very well made and presented tale of the life of a butler, backed up with a very fine cast including a magnificent Hopkins, with genuinely heartrending and touching moments, none of which were achieved with the slightest hint of manipulation.
It is slightly monotonous in parts, but it is very sincere. Oh and it was very nice to see Christopher Reeve.
