Maybe I was wrong about THE HAUNTING. THE REFLECTING SKIN might, actually, be the "scariest"--well, no? It's a different sort of "terror". Horrible, emotional? wrenching?
THIS is one of the most powerful pieces I've ever seen. VIGGO MORTENSEN is (again-as ALWAYS) BRILLIANT. Screw DeNiro. Mortensen is (easily) the best actor alive today? and a genius in more ways than one.
?This is a film that NEEDS to be seen. It's beautifully directed and masterfully shot.
Worth searching out. ;and, TRULY, truly? disturbing and wrenching (in my opinion?).
