Best dysfunctional family holiday movie ever! A couple on the verge of divorce and a bitchy intolerable grandmother taken hostage by a jewel thief on Christmas Day.. Quick witted and really funny .. My favorite parts: right at the beginning when the divorcing couple tell their marriage counselor 'Fuck You!' because they're pissed that he won't take sides .
.. Another great line ' Is there a fucking waste of life named Murray there?' .. and of course the son telling his overbearing bitchy mother 'I'm going to get you a cross for christmas next year so the next time you feel unappreciated you can climb on up and nail yourself to it' Great script and lots of good lines perfectly suited for the cast! Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey & Judy Davis are perfect in this movie.
