Comedian Denis Leary stars as a burglar who takes a married couple hostage on Christmas Eve only to find himself caught in the middle of a seething marital dispute. "The Ref" is a funny and slightly mean-spirited little movie guaranteed to make you feel better about your own dysfunctional family.
