Review of The Red Violin (1998) by Marcia D — 16 Jan 2009
A quilted story, patched from periods of a red violin and its owners's lives. It all starts when a violin master is making his masterpiece and his wife dies giving birth to their first child - and that's how the violin turns to be red - a quite unusual colour for the instrument.
From that on the violin is always used by someone with his own saga. A neverending story!
