Review of The Red Violin (1998) by Scarlett Z — 23 Apr 2009
A personal favourite film of mine, and by far my favourite Canadian feature. The music and flow of the stories is clear, concise, and not only explores the tale of a beautiful and mezmerising violin, but also the cultures and people and histories upon which it touches.
A great, diverse cast, and a stellar direction from Francois Girard.
