Review of The Red Violin (1998) by Derek E — 14 Jun 2010
A colleague in work told me about this film and I eventually managed to get the DVD. This is a story about the creation of a special high quality violin and its journey from Cremona, Italy (where strads come from) to a sale at a sales room in modern times.
This has so much colour and story in it with the people who own it or inherit it and how it was almost lost in China and the twist in the end of the tale just takes into a whodunit.
