Review of The Red Violin (1998) by Jonathan D — 16 May 2011
I saw this years ago, but listening to the soundtrack just now reminded me of how much I liked the movie. It is the story of a famous, (fictional) glorious violin, and its journey among owners across centuries.
.. along with the curse it carries. At its best, it's chilling, and it does have a great and equally chilling soundtrack by John Corigliano.
