Review of The Red Pill (2016) by Jalen H — 11 Apr 2018
The Red Pill offers a look into the discrimination and sexism that men can and do face. It looks into a side of activism that many activists tend to ignore. Though obviously not looking into every issue (how could they in such a short time), such as gendered crime definitions, lack of government services, and lack of support from the public, it does make note of severe double standards on how the government and society tend to overlook half the the population's issues.
It also takes a critical look at how oppsing ideologies can actually perpetuate said inequalities while claiming to fight for them, giving the audience a chance to question their preconceived views on the matter.
If anything, it encourages people to look at both sides of the argument, revealing those who truly care about equality, and those who only care about their movement.
