Review of The Red Pill (2016) by Teri S — 02 Nov 2016
Cassie Jaye has masterfully shown what I and many others have experienced while standing up for men and exposing the truth about today's feminism. I have to admit, The Red Pill brought tears to my eyes more than once. As a boys/men's and shared parenting advocate, I can attest to the mass heartbreak and suffering of fathers unfairly separated from their children.
I defended feminism when I first found the men's movement. For three years I argued with men's rights advocates, naively thinking feminism stood for equality. Then I saw the truth with my own eyes. After I testified in favor of a shared parenting bill in California, I watched a rep from NOW and a rep from the domestic violence industry misrepresent the truth and lie under oath about fathers, children and abuse. They killed the bill, even though 85% of people supported shared parenting.
That was my red pill moment. I realized the MRAs had been telling the truth the entire time. Feminists don't fight for equality - they oppose it (when it removes unfair control women have). Then I saw videos of other shared parenting bills being killed by the same players (always someone from NOW and someone from the DV industry) with the same misinformation and lies, in state. after state. after state.
I appreciate that Cassie addressed domestic violence by women against men. Since lies and misinformation feminists spread about abuse are a large reason more shared parenting bills aren't getting passed, I am always happy to see the truth exposed. We once convinced Whoopi Goldberg to ask Vice President Biden to speak on the subject of female perpetrators of domestic violence, on The View TV show. Instead, he threw his hands up in the air and lied, saying every man in prison watched has father beat on his mother.
The misinformation that Cassie is exposing runs very deep, and is connected to power, control, and money. Thank you, Cassie, from the bottom of my heart.
