Review of The Red Cliff (1949) by Vadfun K — 22 Feb 2010
From a legedary chinese chronicle to an great war movie. It's entertaining and exciting, however the war scene seem a bit too long. I like the way that John Woo add a bit of "moive" element to the story insted of making the moive exactly like the book such as adding the relationship between the princess and the soldier in Red Cliff 2.
PS. Really temped to give 5 star as Takeshi (SCREAM SCREM SCREM, as usual), Tony Leung and Fengyi Zhang is soooo goood. LOVE THEM.
