Review of The Recruiter (2008) by Maggie L — 19 Jun 2009
Very Strong and honest portrayal of how the American Recruiting works in the USA. It's eye opener and for me, even though I am Canadian, it is very similar how it's done here. I am proud of all our troops whether they be American or Canadian and I only want everyone to return home safely.
The sad thing about war is that it's old men that start wars and young men and women fight. The summary at the end of the film sums everything up and my heart goes out to Lauren, her family life never gave her a chance and all she wants to do is live and be loved and happy.
Hope your doing okay Lauren! And Sgt. Usie, your a very strong man!
