Review of The Rebel (1961) by Keith H — 29 Jun 2008
The Rebel is a fabulous mini masterpiece. Hancock has enough room here to infalte his pomposity to 23 Railway Cuttings East Cheam proportions whilst at the same time managing to endear himself to the audience, a difficult balancing act.
the art is pretty good too dare I say it and with the mighty George Sanders putting in a memorable cameo it all adds up to a great first time outing for TH on the big screen.
