Review of The Reaping (2007) by Bret K — 02 Dec 2008
As far as "scary" movies go, this was better than I expected. One or two of the "plagues" were a little glossed-over, but several of them were genuinely scary... locusts in particular.
I enjoyed how the movie dealt with faith, and one of the two end twists was something I didn't see coming. The second, "fade to black" twist felt tacked on and unnecessary, though. Overall, well done! Hillary Swank continues to impress me.
