While enjoyable this movie launched towards a good idea but missed. It's nice to see a movie acknowledge God but the writers need to do some research. It's very unbelievable that someone who was ordained and dedicated enough to spend time in the mission would no so little about the bible and it's condemnation of child sacrifice.

For anyone reading this and being confused about that statement shoot me a message. Abraham and Isaac is very well explained in Hebrews. The snag of the cult also seems illogical. (yeap I spoil things a bit, sorry)There whole goal has been to make this child, so then they try to kill her? The child's free will is wholly ignored, and this movie makes God's leaders look weak and easily manipulated.

Maybe I expected too much, maybe I'm being too hard on it I just feel it missed the mark.
