Review of The Reaping (2007) by Lydia P — 24 Aug 2009
I was very excitied to see this movie. I wasn't completly disappointed, but it wasn't as good as I thought. The acting was great from Hilary Swank and AnnaSophia Robb. The other characters were kind of "there", if you know what I mean.
I love jumpy movies, and this one doesn't dissappoint. Lots of suspense, which I like in horror/thriller movies. One instance of the F word summs up the language. A scene of kissing, but we just skimmed over that, so I honestly don't know how bad it got.
*cough cough* I liked how the Bible is taken seriously, and not made fun of or twisted in any way. I will give it a 3 for the acting and good scary parts.
