Review of The Reaping (2007) by Matthew O — 10 Jul 2012
Strange goings on involving murder, and a river of what seems to be blood in a lousisana town, bring a young couple of scientist to invistagate. What follows are a series of replicate biblical plagues.
Sadly there is nothing new in the reaping, and the film is devoid of any kind of horror, and suspense, shame from a director who has made both a nightmare on elm street and a predator film. Hilary Swank is a good actress and is watchable, but this is a forgettable performance, and a million dollar baby seem a long time ago now.
