Review of The Real Jurassic Park (1993) by Tyler R — 16 Jun 2015
What more really needs to be said? This is a classic that has stood the test of time. An island of dinosaurs brought to life by science for the sake of entertainment. That statement brings out the kid in everyone.
Jurassic Park holds up extremely well, and I don't mean that just in terms of the visuals. The characters have become iconic and quotable, the scenes have been used across all forms of media, and it still wows to this day.
Acting wise, we have a solid cast that just meshes well. Visually, we have stunning practical effects and good visual effects, despite some spottiness throughout. The pace is swift and the action is plentiful.
However, the action services the story, not the other way around, which is certainly rare today. This is, and forever will be, an iconic film.
