What is interesting about this movie to me is not the supposed odd tendancies of Farmer John nor the subculture and kind light the move casts toward organic farming. Although I am not against any of these topics, what I found more engaging was how this man gave up and tried again and again.
How failure leads to success and how the end of the tunnel is often a new beginning. By the end of the movie I was very happy whereas at the beginning I thought it was going to be some propaganda piece.
He isnt that wierd really....not comparatively speaking.
