Review of The Reader (2008) by Ibrahim M — 13 Nov 2010
Daldry attempting once again to hit the nail in his introspective femme studies and their repercusions on external factors. The Reader is a rewarding watch, certainly helped by a strong female leading role by Winslet.
Despite how redundant it becomes somewhere around the middle and not reaching the considerable quality of The Hours, it is among the year's most decent deliveries.
