This film brings so many issues, not just about the Holocaust but about a people's reaction to their part in it. How can those involved ever possibly re-pay for the atrocities? powerful and yet demanding issues.
Amazing performance her for Winslet. I couldnt shake this film for awhile and it still haunts me when I consider all the issues. Is it even possible to have sympothy for those who participated in attempted genocide? My brain fries.
