(2008) The Reader.
DRAMA.
Based on a novel of the same name written by Bernhard Schlink who also serve as the film's consultant about an adult(Ralph Fiennes) recounting while being an underage teenager's affair with an older woman(Kate Winslet) who happens to be an illiterate showing only the times before and after WWII!
Kate Winslet won a Best Supporting Oscar for this role as Hanna Schmitz who often makes out with the young Michael Berg played by David Kross. This almsot seeems like every teenager's fantasy whenever it involves a young man going through puberty especially if it's to someone looking like Winslet. The xtras on the DVD includes more nude shots of Winslet, I mean what's the point about reading when you can see the real thing!
2.5 out of 4.
