Review of The Razor's Edge (1984) by Dawdlingpoet — 25 Nov 2021
I enjoyed this film - its a bit predictable perhaps but I felt I could relate to the main, titular character. I liked the characters and I liked how Carrie dealt with situations and the suggestions of her therapist.
Its not exactly an amazing film but its a quietly decent film, as coming of age films about introverts are concerned. Its not especially memorable as such perhaps but I enjoyed it and I particularly liked the father daughter relationship with Carrie (played well by Bel Powley) and her dad, only known as Mr.
Pilby, played by Gabriel Byrne.
