Review of The Raven (2012) by Debra H — 31 Aug 2013
I think all y'all panning The Raven are being a bit snooty and nit-picky. Poe happens to be one of my favorite authors, and I thought the movie was original and well-done, especially when compared to all the derivative shlock that comes out of Hollywood nowadays.
My acid test for a good movie is if I'll sit through it for a second time, especially for the second showing as I did when I used to go to movie theaters, and The Raven met that criteria.
