Really uneven movie. John Cusack seems for once miscast, and usually I think he does a very good job. At times either his acting is bad (some weird line deliveries), or he get over the formulaic script with bad dialogue.
A bit of both, I think. The methods of Luke Evans' character are so ridiculous, as is the progression of the general plot. That all being said, it is still a watchable movie for one viewing.
