Review of The Raspberry Reich (2004) by Murat S — 05 Aug 2007

This last film from Bruce LaBruce may offend the sensitive viewer, so don't make an attempt if you cannot stand this story of a gay intafada terrorist group trying to bring on the revolution through boy-on-boy action. It's Brucie's second big hardcore pornographic art work with purposefully bad acting and several revolutionary slogans such as "the revolution is my boyfriend" and "heterosexuality is the opiate of the masses," on banners covering big knobs is the meat of Raspberry Reich.

Raspberry Reich gets very mixed reactions, many praise it but some cannot stand it and walk out, even at the arty-iest of film festivals. So be prepared, there is nothing mainstream about this and will make all your extremist juices flow about. Revolution in your own time.
