Review of The Rapture (1991) by Ariah K — 12 Jun 2012
"...when the bars began to drop from the doors of the jail cells, and fell with a clank to the stone floors, I remembered the nuns describing that final day, when the dead would rise up from the graves, and the prisoners be freed from their cells, all to face a judgment higher than man's" -- Roger Ebert.
The special effects around the River Styx leave a bit to be desired (and the topic may put some people off), but the film does present a meaningful discussion, which really challenges us with the question 'are our lives of any consequence?'.
