Having lived in Japan, I'm interested in all things Japanese, so I thought I should watch this movie although I expected it to be trite and just plain bad. Especially since master airhead Brittany Murphy is in it...
The movie starts off with truly bad acting but I hung in there and was pleasantly surprised. The story had a good message and I truly enjoyed the Japanese actors and actresses in the movie. But then again, maybe I only enjoyed it because it reminded me of good old times in Japan...
