She goes into a foreign country, gets dumped by her boyfriend, then tries to get a job at a local ramen restaurant owned by a Japanese who only speaks Japanese, one would think she would try to learn Japanese (no, looking it up in a pocket dictionary every now and then doesn't count).

But that would be too normal for a typical ignorant girl. *rolling eyes*.
