This guy is never going to stop until he?s killed her.

Rudy Baylor is a young aspiring layer who hopes to become a topnotch trial attorney. Shortly after passing the bar examination, he begins his own firm and quickly identifies two clients; little does he know, the first case he manages will be against a commercial insurance firm that could change the way commercial payers do business forever. This could also be the case that launched his career or ends it.

?Everybody loves lawyer jokes, even lawyers. Why do you think that is??

Francis Ford Coppola, director of The Godfather Trilogy, Apocalypse Now, Rumble Fish, Bram Stokers Dracula, and Jack, delivers of Rainmaker. The storyline for this movie is remarkably compelling. The main character was delivered perfectly and the subplots are genius. The acting in this movie is stupendous and the cast includes Matt Damon, Mickey Rourke, Danny Devito, Claire Danes, Jon Voight, Virginia Madsen, and Roy Schneider.

?Sworn in by a fool and vouchered by a scoundrel. I?m a lawyer at last.?

Rainmaker was a film that I had to see since it stars one of my favorite actors, Mickey Rourke. Mickey Rourke?s character was awesome in this film; however, Matt Damon delivers a captivating performance. Jon Voight was impressive as the ?villain? and Coopola does an awesome job depicting the sub plots. I strongly recommend seeing this film.

?You could be their next victim.?

Grade: A-.
