Review of The Railway Man (2013) by Nizar E — 22 Apr 2014
The shallow romantic events & super cast can't solve the upsetting structure in such a hard story.
Firth gives a nice role as an old warrior using nice accent, but Kidman looks out of the mood! The script is elongated with no purpose that it gets us bored for a lot of scenes. Torture scenes are remarkable and realistic.
Nice peaceful movie, but it could be much more better.
