Review of The Railway Man (2013) by Helen J — 03 May 2014
Excellent. The themes of resilience, forgiveness and commitment are woven throughout and make this so much more than another war movie. The ability of the human spirit and hope to rise above the horror experienced by both the prisoner and the captor as well as both partners in the marriage make this a film that you may find yourself thinking about long after you have left the theater.
