Review of The Railway Man (2013) by Jason K — 27 Aug 2014
I'm a sucker for these type of movies. Kudos to showing an aspect of WWII the movies rarely portray. Colin Firth is great as usual and his younger counterpart does a good job as well. Nicole Kidman's character seems to have been cut in the editing room; I can't see why she otherwise took this role.
The script isn't a standout, but it gets the job done.
