Review of The Railway Man (2013) by Kevin L — 21 Jan 2015

A sleeper movie that is based on a true story I found this movie quite good. Colin Firth's acting was good but not his best. I feel that it would have had a greater impact if more of the suffering would have been shown to really drive home the message for I think it just touched lightly on the cruelty that one person can inflict upon another and what a courageous act it takes to come to terms with such cruelty.

Not a feel good movie it reminds us of a time of history that many have forgotten.
