Review of The Railway Man (2013) by Dee D — 15 May 2015
Just saw this on cable..this is a hard movie to watch but it is so fascinating and also touches on what war turns men into..how it can ruin lives, about making peace with it and it's toll on the human soul to haunt even the oppressor .
.very thought provoking movie and the actor who played young Lomax was amazing in his likeness to the looks of Colin Firth young..amazing. I love movies that make u think..and I love something of a message and a moral and this gave me one interpretation that was of horror but of love and touching in finding humanity in the most inhumane places and seemingly people!! awesome movie.
.tough subject..but imagine living it. I say to those in a bubble to want to not view such things...
