Review of The Raid 2 (2014) by Jamaal Dogon H — 15 Oct 2014
The first film was heavy with equal parts action and drama. This new Raid takes the action up a notch while slowing down the pace to set up a big ending with long awaited results. Said results are in and this movie is great.
Too drawn out for my taste in a action flick but, the action it self was superb. I couldn't wait to see certain characters come back. Others I was surprised to see return. Not the type of sequel I though I was going to get but still a fun movie.
If it weren't so long I'd have given it a four out of five instead.
